6 large egg yolks
1/2cup granulated sugar (or 1/2 cup maple syrup)
2cups whole milk
1cup heavy cream
1/2teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4teaspoon salt
1/4teaspoon vanilla extract
Ground cinnamon and cinnamon stick (for garnish)
Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until light and creamy.
